WE ARE NOW HIRING FOR SUMMER 2024!!

TOP Sports Camps were founded on the belief that sports camps should be an interactive experience where kids can have fun, discover a passion for sport, and build essential life skills. Underscoring that belief was the idea that kids should be exposed to as many sports as possible during their youth, building athletic literacy, avoiding early specialization, and developing multi-sport athletes.

We are NOW HIRING passionate and energetic camp coaches to join our growing team at our sports camps in Toronto and Collingwood. All applicants should be VERY outgoing and bring plenty of energy, passion, and engagement to every camp day. Experience running or leading a summer camp group is preferred, as well as experience working with youth in a sports setting.

Applicant Requirements

• Coaching or Camp Counsellor experience and/or sports-playing experience is a must.

• Experience coaching/teaching students of all ages in a variety of sports settings is an asset.

• Strong leadership skills and ability to delegate effectively.

• Works well with minimal supervision, and asks for assistance when needed.

• Manages situations appropriately and professionally.

• Excellent social and verbal communication skills.

• All applicants must be 16+

Roles

Camp Manager - responsible for overseeing a Camp Location, which typically includes 50-100 campers and 8-20 staff, depending on the site. Responsibilities include facilitation of drop-off/pickup procedure, communication with parents, managing allergies/injuries, documenting injuries as per TOP Sports Camps injury process, coordinating facilities with all camp groups, and programming weekly curriculum.

Section Lead - responsible for overseeing a section of camp, which typically includes a large group of campers and staff members. Responsibilities include facilitation of drop-off/pickup procedure, communication with parents, managing allergies/injuries, documenting injuries as per TOP Sports Camps injury process, coordinating facilities with all camp groups, and programming weekly curriculum.

Camp Counsellor - responsible for leading a group of campers throughout the camp week, including running sports activities, executing camp programming, and managing volunteers. Additionally responsible for drop-off/pickup off their group, flagging medical/allergy issues to the section lead, and coordinating facility schedule with the camp manager.
