U7 PRE-academy PROGRAM
At TOP Soccer, we prioritize creating a positive and engaging experience for all young players. The U7 Pre-Academy is designed for players born in 2018 who are thriving in our Recreational Program and ready to take the next step in their development. This program is ideal for young athletes showing early promise, a strong work ethic, and a love for the game.
Led by Ontario Soccer-certified Academy coaches, training sessions focus on four key areas:
Technical development
Tactical awareness
Physical literacy and movement
Mental focus and game understanding
The Pre-Academy follows a carefully designed curriculum developed by Technical Director Tom Waud. The goal is to create a challenging but supportive environment where players can build confidence, sharpen their skills, and grow their game. We believe play is an essential part of a child's development, and we strive to make learning the game of soccer a fun and enjoyable experience for all.
Season Overview
Throughout the fall, players will be evaluated for potential placement in our U8 Boys and Girls Academy teams for the 2026 season. These Academy teams train and compete in Ontario Soccer-sanctioned leagues, tournaments, and festivals.
